Tom Selleck stars as Frank Reagan, the New York Police Commissioner, and patriarch of the Reagan clan, a multigenerational family of cops. Frank's oldest son is Danny, a seasoned detective and Iraqi War veteran who occasionally uses dubious tactics to solve cases. Daughter Erin, the lone female, is an assistant district attorney. Fresh out of Harvard Law, Jamie is the youngest member and "golden boy" of the family. Jamie gave up a lucrative future in law to continue the family's tradition in police work, and is asked to participate in a secretive investigation that even his father does not know about.

Kelly H Very disappointed in the series finale. I hung on as a true fan of this show through the years even with those seasons/episodes that were not upto par. To end the show without really wrapping it up takes this fan's heart to pieces. I mean especially with the hype of the end. Poor Erin. Through it all she was a trooper. Never getting the respect she deserved even in the end. She should of been allowed to tell her family about her marriage to Jack especially with Nikki being home. Why kill Eddie's parnter? Makes no sense. Then to tip off something between Danny and Baez. Baez should of been sitting at the Reagan table in the end. I mean this was the shows end so what was wrong with a strong finish for the duo. This show deserved a better ending. Thwre just was no action to the drama.
