See more chocolate c Jun 23 love chuck & sarah, love the nostalgia, love the show; though, chuck does disobey "stay in the car" orders enough times to drive me crazy lol. i am currently on season three, and this is the show i've been searching for. completely envelops you in these people's lives and takes you on a journey.. seeing chuck find purpose after years of apathy, and him exiting his comfort zones, time and time again. sarah's realisation, albeit subtle, that spying may not be what her heart desires - of course, the WHOM is chuck, and he's certainly given her a taste of innocence, realism and normality among the world of deception surrounding her. it was clear from the start that their romance was going to be a slow burn, but i do find myself becoming impatient at times. that's the price of authenticity with something like this, i guess. a person like sarah who's very guarded (/broken?), plus her profession, isn't likely to become vunerable quickly. a person like chuck will hold her close and wait. there are so many times, especially in season three, when either sarah has something important to tell chuck but doesn't get the opportunity, or the two are gatecrashed during emotionally intimate scenes - countless things in their way which threaten the bond and trust, but they continue to pull through, together. then there's the always-competent john casey, whom i also adore. he adds the sassy comic relief factor and still loves to hate chuck, and chuck & sarah. Still very entertaining and exciting See more 01/05/2025 Agent Shaw brought a new layer of drama and tension to the series, but his presence ultimately disrupted the chemistry that made the show so enjoyable. While his character had potential, his storyline felt forced and took away from the charm and connection that defined the earlier episodes. And I will forever compare every leading lady with Strahovski; she's a brilliant actress with mad skills as an action lead and the love story she tells with Levi is compelling and inspiring.
