Austin Smith New York Post Now the only place left for "Ed" to go is on an eternal honeymoon. Sep 16, 2019 Full Review Steve Johnson Chicago Tribune The cast is mostly first rate, although I've tired of the Michael Ian Black wacky-guy act. And the writing, in its best moments, continues to sparkle, rich in detail and thematic ambition. Sep 16, 2019 Full Review Roger Catlin Hartford Courant After three years, there's nothing quite like "Ed" on network TV, though the fast-talking, smart pop references and sheer velocity of quips makes it a male version of "Gilmore Girls" or "Ally McBeal."
