Everwood is a life-affirming series that boasts some startlingly raw family dynamics, although some viewers may find the show's earnestness too syrupy.

Mark W I'm only up to e7 and I'm and definitely in for the long haul. This has so much heart. The series is a must watch. It doesn't feel like it was filmed back in 2002 it has fantastic storylines that are more than worthy of a box of tissues that are generally needed if your quick sensitive in nature. Bill Goodykoontz Arizona Republic Oh-so-earnest drama starring Treat Williams as a famous brain surgeon who moves his kids to the sticks of Colorado from New York City after his wife dies. Pretty good, though -- and well aware of it. Feb 9, 2021 Full Review Andrew Ryan Globe and Mail Everwood is solid family drama in the vein of 7th Heaven or Providence. Mar 11, 2020 Full Review Neil Genzlinger New York Times Treat Williams has rarely looked as comfortable as he does in Everwood, a promising new drama full of wry touches Oct 8, 2018 Full Review Elena Razlogova PopMatters Apart from gorgeous panoramas of the snowy Rockies, Everwood offers little fresh material. Oct 8, 2018 Full Review Rob Owen Pittsburgh Post-Gazette To some parents, these confrontations may sound grudgingly familiar. When Everwood hits these believable notes, it shows promise as a great drama. Unfortunately, it also hits some dissonant sharps and flats. Oct 8, 2018 Full Review Filip Vukcevic IGN Movies It steers clear of overly drippy melodrama, while at the same time it's able to explore the emotions of its characters in honest and realistic ways.
