Three young men and three young women -- of the BFF kind -- live in the same apartment complex and face life and love in New York. They're not above sticking their noses into one another's business and swapping romantic partners, which always leads to the kind of hilarity average people will never experience -- especially during breakups.

Matthew Gilbert Boston Globe Of all the returning series, only a handful remain in consistently good form: "Friends" stays witty despite Ross and Rachel's endless seesawing. Jun 28, 2018 Full Review Maureen Lee Lenker Entertainment Weekly Season 5 showcased the acting ensemble at their peak, making plenty of room for the blend of humor and heartfelt emotion that made the show a hit for 10 seasons. Jun 27, 2018 Full Review Joe Reid The Atlantic Season five is the best because it's Chandler and Monica trying to keep their relationship under wraps, which improbably stayed funny over the course of fourteen episodes and STILL managed to pay it off with the best episode of the series. Jun 27, 2018 Full Review Catriona Wightman Digital Spy Season five had some incredible bits. It also had Emily, but never mind. Jun 27, 2018 Full Review Adam Chitwood Collider The writers didn't rush [the Monica and Chandler] relationship to its conclusion...and it's this comedy mined from their sneaking around and trying to keep their relationship a secret that makes Season 5 one of the show's best. Jun 27, 2018 Full Review Louisa Mellor Den of Geek David Schwimmer pulls some comedy magic out of Ross' downward spiral. Jun 26, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
