Three young men and three young women -- of the BFF kind -- live in the same apartment complex and face life and love in New York. They're not above sticking their noses into one another's business and swapping romantic partners, which always leads to the kind of hilarity average people will never experience -- especially during breakups.

Michael Speier Variety By virtue of the show's duration, Ross, Rachel, Joey, Phoebe, Chandler and Monica have worn out their comic welcome; nothing they do surprises, shocks or excites auds like it used to. Jun 27, 2018 Full Review Javier Del Pino El Pais (Spain) Friends has represented narrative of the highest quality that has distinguished itself as a great way to make television. [Full Review in Spanish] Jun 28, 2018 Full Review Tom Chapman Screen Rant Friends always had a solid end to its seasons, but Joey and Rachel teetering on the edge of a relationship is one that we would all probably rather forget. Jun 27, 2018 Full Review Catriona Wightman Digital Spy Season nine's problem was its relationships. Jun 27, 2018 Full Review Adam Chitwood Collider The writers finally reached the point where they apparently had tackled all the possible road blocks to Ross and Rachel getting together, opting for a hail mary of a story arc in which Rachel falls in love with Joey. No, Friends. No. Bad Friends. Jun 27, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

av 8 Season Average: 7.565 Both Joey and Ross nearly made a move on Rachel and now neither are. Rachel is the only person who can put Emma to crying. Ross is such a baby and likes lollipops. Chandler is into normal p*rn and not shark content. Everyone is always free and in the coffeehouse otherwise but not on Phoebe's birthday night. Ross' ego cannot stand a male nanny. But he sure can sing about girls with huge backs to make Emma laugh. Rachel is surprisingly the least spoilt of all her sisters. Ross puts the number of the guy Rachel met at the bar safely into his pocket. Chandler leaves work and comes to Monica. Chandler is out of work. Rachel and Phoebe (very temporarily) get back to work. Phoebe's apartment is going to be the source of the next plague. People love Monica's singing a lot, lot, lot. Ross and Rachel go on terrible blind dates. Phoebe was a large burly man who once had mugged Ross when he was a boy. Monica does NOT need a b**b job. Ross dies and no one cares. Chandler comes out of the closet. Phoebe wins 3 dollars because of the darn pigeon. Now it's Rachel's turn to be in a one-sided love story. Monica and Chandler cannot conceive easily but they do not want Zack's sperm. Meanwhile Joey dates smart Charlie who ultimately dumps him and makes out with Ross minutes later. Joey decides that he can after all do it to Ross and kisses Rachel. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/14/25 Full Review André F Pior temporada da série, mas mesmo assim sendo mais boa que má e tendo ótimos momentos (por exemplo o Mike). Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/04/24 Full Review daniel k Paul Rudd was in this season Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Still very watchable and very enjoyable because of the characters and performances but this season easily has the weakest storylines. The humour always works but the drama has become a bit stale by this point. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Most brilliantly written show ever. Geniuses. Never found anything that can dare to come close Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member The season started off strong, but "The One in Barbados" is probably the worst final episode of a season. The awkward relationship between Joey and Rachael is not as great as the show intended, because as far as romance come the two have little on-screen chemistry. The love triangle between Ross, Joey, and Charlie also seemed really forced, so it barley had any impact. The season did benefit from the parenting relationship between Ross and Rachel and the boundaries that have to be made. It also benefitted from the story-line of Monica and Chandler trying to have a baby as well as Paul Rudd becoming a reoccurring character! This season is not as good as the rest, but still enjoyable!
