Catherine Gee Daily Telegraph (UK) No one forgets a title like Get Shorty, meaning that a remake or an adaptation will always be conspicuously recognised as exactly that. Rated: 4/5 Jun 7, 2018 Full Review Rob Sheffield Rolling Stone It works because it's scrappy, funny and fast on its feet, zipping from mob violence to low-life banter. Sep 1, 2017 Full Review Clark Collis Entertainment Weekly Get Shorty certainly does enough to have Leonard fans sticking around for more "Action!" Rated: B+ Aug 15, 2017 Full Review Peter Crawley Irish Times The sustaining joke of the show, though, is the still effective tug of a shabby Hollywood promise, filmed in appealingly faded hues, where even certain death might be avoided with the right movie pitch. Jul 2, 2018 Full Review Mark Sanderson The Arts Desk The yawning gap between the characters' fantasies and grim reality is what drives all of Leonard's thrillers. Rated: 4/5 Jun 14, 2018 Full Review John Griffiths AARP Movies for Grownups Shorty the TV show wows by making its two main scrapers richly lovable. Sep 13, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

Michael R Great show. They really screwed up when they didn't go at least five seasons with it. Good job mixing crime drama with comedy. Better than the movie. Highly recommended. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 07/04/24 Full Review B C This show is great! Chris O'Dowd is great as well. He should be in more stuff. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/17/22 Full Review Audience Member unreal. I binged the whole series in a week. couldn't drop it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member As engrossing and full of interesting camera work, great acting and surprising turns as Breaking Bad, with a little lighter touch. My only regret is that there are only three seasons. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Actors are great! Such a variety of amazing talent in this show, but this has the typical triple Hollywood treatment - smoking (including vape and weed), porn, and anti-Christian (rag on Mormons). Dialog is kind of slow too, could be much funnier with less visual storytelling and more dialog. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review dave d Really good all around. Not sure why I hadn't heard more about this series before. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
