What to Know

Critics Consensus

A strong voice cast and an even stronger grasp of what makes its titular antiheroine so beloved make Harley Quinn a violently delightful -- and surprisingly insightful -- addition to the DC animated universe.

Eliana Dockterman TIME Magazine The animated Harley Quinn series invites its viewers to contemplate and even critique the versions of Harley we've seen before. Aug 25, 2020 Full Review Brad Newsome Sydney Morning Herald This foul-mouthed, exceedingly violent series looks like an old-fashioned Saturday-morning cartoon, but it quickly sets about sending up superhero shows, romantic comedies, male chauvinism and anything else. Aug 20, 2020 Full Review Brian Lowry CNN.com The series plays like a carnival ride -- something that's fun and exciting the first time, and tiring and a little nausea-inducing by the time you reach the 13th, which happens to be how many episodes were made for the first season. Dec 2, 2019 Full Review Michael Cuby them. A hilarious, intelligent, and rewatchable series... Sep 26, 2022 Full Review Iván Belmont Konexión (MX) Harley Quinn is a breath of fresh air for DC's animated catalog. [Full Review in Spanish] Rated: 4/5 Oct 18, 2021 Full Review Andrew Wyatt The Lens DC's irreverent series gives Gotham's mistress of chaos the spotlight - and ruthlessly satirizes the Batman mythos. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/25 Full Review Kevin P Fun, bloody action with snappy satire and relatable characters. Takes the p*ss out of DC Comics while also clearly being a love letter to the source material while reimagining some of the characters to spin a new narrative.
