This two-part documentary features four wounded British soldiers in their attempt to make the first unsupported trek to the North Pole by wounded servicemen. The program, narrated by John Hurt, follows the team in a year of training and planning for the charity expedition. Joining the servicemen in their final preparations for the expedition is Prince Harry. The young veterans, whose injuries include a paralyzed arm and an amputated arm, are determined to reach the top of the world to highlight the plight of the servicemen and women injured in battle in Afghanistan. The expedition would be challenging for an able-bodied explorer, let alone severely injured war veterans.
