Vipul K Liked it. It was different from more serious apocalypse stories like twd, eternaut and others of it genre. I enjoy the bizarre. I like Korean productions. I like gore. And depending on the approach, I can enjoy parodies too… But I don’t like this series. Modern-day setting, a young couple as protagonists, a hotel, a big city, tons of zombies, lots of blood, lots of humor, and a bunch of ingredients thrown into a blender that never really works. The humor is the worst kind of lowbrow American style—dumb, absurd, and just plain bad. It’s been a while since a comedy made me laugh so little. The acting is awful, but clearly intentionally so, so I won’t blame the cast. If anything, the responsibility falls on the director and showrunner. While Netflix seems to be making smart editorial choices when it comes to Korean content... Amazon clearly hasn’t figured it out yet—again. I can't recommend it if you like zombies, if you’re looking for comedy, or even a genre parody. It just doesn’t know what it wants to be, other than a silly waste of time.
