Tara Ariano Slate Playing House's real love story is that of Maggie and Emma's friendship. Reader, I sobbed. (I might be crying a little now remembering it, and I haven't seen it in six months.) Apr 22, 2021 Full Review Hanh Nguyen IndieWire Oh yes, Playing House is crass, inappropriate, silly, but most of all vital. Rated: B+ Jun 23, 2017 Full Review Jay Bamber PopMatters The world of Playing House too has changed, and it's very much for the better. It's exceptionally kind-hearted and humane; a near-perfect model of comedy done right. Rated: 9/10 Jul 12, 2017 Full Review Ken Tucker Yahoo! TV This may be the best Playing House season yet. Jun 23, 2017 Full Review Matt Roush TV Insider At heart, and there's plenty of it this season, Playing House is a celebration of friendship through comic, and seriocomic, adversity. Audience Member Great happy show. Every time I watch this I laugh. It's both completely wacky and relatable. Watch two episodes and judge it from there. The only bad thing I can say is that the product placement in the show is shameless and really badly done everything else about the show is awesome! Great odd cameos from comedy actors. A show that should be way more talked about than it is. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
