Margaret Lyons New York Magazine/Vulture Project Greenlight is a worthwhile television show. Like any compelling narrative, it has clear characters with strong wants and a comprehensible environment with appropriate obstacles. Sep 6, 2019 Full Review Ellen Gray Philadelphia Inquirer It's as fascinating -- and infuriating -- as ever, inadvertently illustrating the obstacles facing women and minorities in Hollywood. Sep 6, 2019 Full Review Willa Paskin Slate A primer on reality TV's best quality: the way that it can capture unspeakably complex human relationships in all their unspeakable complexity. Sep 6, 2019 Full Review Melissa Camacho Common Sense Media The interaction between Damon, Affleck, and other mentors on their team are quite interesting, especially when they are discussing the specific aspects of the filmmaking process. Rated: 3/5 Sep 16, 2015 Full Review Cliff Wheatley IGN Movies It feels like a higher class of reality TV, and I'm looking forward to when the show gets into the guts of putting a likely ill-prepared filmmaker behind the wheel of a $3 million movie. Rated: 7.9/10 Sep 14, 2015 Full Review Amos Barshad Grantland In 2015, it turns out, the charms of Greenlight are just what they were in 2005. Lots of stressed-out people... starring, through bleary and caffeine-blasted eyes, at phones for news that in an instant could change their lives. Sep 14, 2015 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member I love reality shows like this. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member great way of pulling back the curtain on hollywood and exposing the real life struggles/victories that take place Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member That Effie woman is so annoying, I couldn't watch the series anymore! She was likely added just to create drama, but she's a bully, and annoying like hell. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member It was an interesting process to see. I had never seen the show before and had always intended to do so. I'm still not sure we saw everything, just the budget vs art story. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Effie Brown is a joke. She's an embarrassment to the fight for equality, making everything personal, petty, and unnecessarily dramatic. She creates half the work she does, and she is the only one who doesn't realize that she's on the show not because of her incredible skill and talent, but her combative and petty personality and how she can't appreciate a solution without a considerable amount of conflict first. Terrible for business or productivity, but great for a reality TV show. Overall the season is as interesting as the others, I liked it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I don't know how realistic it is but I'm enjoying the show. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
