Reviews 88% Fewer than 50 Ratings Audience Score Failure isn't an option for the new Navy SEALs, and that kind of pressure can take a toll on the members of the special operations forces' most elite unit. This team trains, plans and executes some of the most dangerous, high-stakes missions and deploys for clandestine missions around the globe at a moment's notice. While serving their country is a worthy and rewarding cause, it can put a strain on the SEALs and their families, causing the guys to look out for one another in the face of seemingly overwhelming odds, both on and off the job. Previous Jasper H SEAL Team captures all the action, excitement, and adrenaline of the epitomized military/special-operations motion picture, but balances this with very relevant and real depictions of personal issues, struggles with mental health, and societal problems. As someone with 12+ years of martial arts experience and an avid action film critic, this series has some of the most realistic combat choreography out there, and still manages to be gripping for the viewer. SEAL Team satisfies a quench for action without compromising on realism nor relying heavily on plot armour. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/13/23 Full Review D H This has been a staple in our must see movie nights! Not sure why they moved to paramount plus, BUT! 2 good things happened from it. One, they don't have to be so careful on their script for certain scenes and language. Makes it even more "real". Second, had made me appreciate our navy seals even more. I KNOw, it's not even close to what they really go through, but if you can get some sort of an idea that's what happens, it can make you appreciate what they do. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SHOW!! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/07/23 Full Review Laura K Loved this show from the beginning. It's so well done. This last season was gut wrenching but so well written. Totally worth binging if you haven't already. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/05/23 Full Review xmilitary11b Great show!! One of the best series available. The writers have a former Delta operator as part of the cast and had a former SEAL.....there is no way this show should run out of 'material' to put together a lot more episodes and seasons. Not thrilled that 'blond-a-rella' was killed off, and only 10 episodes...but as long as the series keeps pushing forward, I have a great reason to keep my Paramount subscription.....while enjoying a top tier show. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Glynn D They should have gave up when it was a good show, it's an action show and if course even elite super solders like the navy SEALs are going to suffer both mentally and physically its still an action show which we haven't seen much of lately. The issues the team are dealing with needs a public forum not a tv show, they are very real issues that need addressing and not just for navy seals but for anyone in a war zone weather soldiers or civilians. The US has never been good at looking after VETS mental health needs it's no wonder they end up homeless/suicidal/ feel let down by the country they fought to(or thought they where) fighting to protect even all they really are are replaceable pawns in the US'A's fight for power(oil, mineral resources, rebuilding contracts, destroy a country so we can build it back up the way we want but only if it had something we need i.e North Korea, Russia, China. They'll only stand up for the countries that they know they can beat, they don't have to beat them, the US War machine is just a money making system that they put into affect when they know they have money/oil to be got) sorry a bit of a rant there but I really do like the show and hope they go back to being more action man than family man, its a fictional action show about the best of the best when it comes to US forces even tho most weeks they end up effing more things up than being the elite solders there touted to be Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/06/23 Full Review Tim F Season 6 was the best so far. I even teared up, but don't tell anyone. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/24/22 Full Review Read all reviews Next Post a review
