It brought symmetry to the storyline of season two and genuinely shocked me in ways I’m not used to being shocked with TV shows these days. It’s usually super easy to predict where each storyline is going to go, and the fact that this one surprised me even though I knew it was going to happen eventually based on preseason interviews from the actors was amazing. See more El M 10/07/2024 Seasons 6 and 7 have been terrible: productions were cheap as dirt (using Californian ranches full of powerlines to look like remote Afganistan, employing cheap wrecks of a Huey to mimic a downed Blackhawk etc.), the plots repetitive and the action scenes embarrassingly unrealistic. See more Jasper H 11/13/2023 SEAL Team captures all the action, excitement, and adrenaline of the epitomized military/special-operations motion picture, but balances this with very relevant and real depictions of personal issues, struggles with mental health, and societal problems. As someone with 12+ years of martial arts experience and an avid action film critic, this series has some of the most realistic combat choreography out there, and still manages to be gripping for the viewer. SEAL Team satisfies a quench for action without compromising on realism nor relying heavily on plot armour. See more D H 05/07/2023 This has been a staple in our must see movie nights! Not sure why they moved to paramount plus, BUT! 2 good things happened from it. One, they don't have to be so careful on their script for certain scenes and language. Makes it even more "real". Second, had made me appreciate our navy seals even more. I KNOw, it's not even close to what they really go through, but if you can get some sort of an idea that's what happens, it can make you appreciate what they do. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SHOW!!
