The lives of a group of teenagers in Bristol, England, are followed through two years of sixth form, with the story line of this critically acclaimed series delving into such controversial subjects as substance abuse, sexuality, teenage pregnancy, personality and eating disorders, and mental illness. "Skins" is unique in its casting of amateur actors, and the fact that the cast is replaced every two seasons, when the characters leave school.

ANNA C New gen, interesting and different. Good Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/07/25 Full Review Audience Member This is my absolute favorite! I just love it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/14/24 Full Review Prabudhjeet A Teens are more energetic, daring. Though I liked characters from season 1 and 2. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/19/24 Full Review Audience Member It starts as though lazily formulaic, and builds about halfway through… similar to S02. However, this has a better theme, with the character stories playing at a deeper level, with both core and new characters having important parts to play in how everything comes together Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
