Phelim O'Neill Guardian After a shaky start, the show developed into something much better than expected, with the unwilling and unprepared crew regularly at risk from internal power struggles, alien attacks and mysterious forces. May 19, 2018 Full Review Barry Garron The Hollywood Reporter True, "Stargate" fans likely will climb aboard this spaceship. But if this series is ever to really take off and become stellar, it will need more surprising stories and more intellectually challenging drama. May 18, 2018 Full Review Laura Fries Variety It all makes for an intriguing setup that doesn't quite gel, even by the end of the third episode. May 18, 2018 Full Review Adam Sweeting The Arts Desk Now here's Stargate Universe, which - judging by this double length opener - creators Brad Wright and Robert S. Cooper might equally well have called Stargate Galactica, Stargate Trek, or even Stargate Lost. Aug 5, 2020 Full Review Jason Hughes CinemaBlend Cap it off with one of the most intense cliffhanger endings any sci-fi show has ever given us, and you have a fantastic first season. Rated: 4/5 May 21, 2018 Full Review Bruce Simmons Screen Rant I am not compelled to disembark with them. Not yet. May 19, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/27/24 Full Review Edin V This show is 10 times better then everything what comes now days. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/10/24 Full Review Michael G I'm guessing having a Goa'uld implanted in my stomach would be a more pleasant experience than watching Stargate Universe. I'm a big fan of Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis, but I found myself wishing the Wraiths had actually conquered Earth just to stop this show from ever being made. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/29/24 Full Review Think P Stargate Universe is a great addition to the Stargate "Universe". The story premises is interesting and the characters are well played. The OV version is way better than the translation in German though. Loved the first season. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/26/23 Full Review Jonny F Less camp and more serious than SG1, some times grown up story lines. Stargate Universe is gripping and fasinating overall, with lots of character focus. Stunning mid season and end of season plots. The best music by the SG composer, RIP. A jewl in the star gate crown. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/04/23 Full Review Tina K Great sci-fi series! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
