Phelim O'Neill Guardian Unfortunately, it wasn't quite the weekly light adventurism that many Stargate fans were hoping for, but it's left us with... a cliffhanger that will never be resolved, giving a slightly bittersweet ending to a compelling, spectacular and thrilling ride. May 19, 2018 Full Review Emily St. James AV Club The series still has rough spots, and I don't know that it's even bothered to differentiate some of these characters from each other...but it's doing enough things right that I'll probably keep an eye on it for a while. Apr 17, 2018 Full Review Scotsman Staff Scotsman Believe me, I studied the "previously on..." recap with intense concentration. But it was so incoherent, it was almost as if it was designed to alienate new viewers. May 19, 2018 Full Review Rob Keyes Screen Rant The premiere of season 2 serves its purpose of maintaining the drama and intensity we've come to expect from each episode of Stargate Universe... May 19, 2018 Full Review Charles Webb MTV Many of the episodes--while pushing forward the week-to-week narrative--lean a little too far in the direction of standalone stories, really only moving forward one or two beats in the overall story, killing any sense of momentum. Apr 17, 2018 Full Review Meredith Woerner io9.com Last night, we said goodbye to Stargate Universe. In a strange way, the finale was almost parallel to the manner in which this series was canned - the show ended right as it started to get good. Apr 17, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Think P After already enjoying the first season - it got even better in the second season. SGU is a bit more serious than SG1 or SGA. For me that and the stronger focus on the character development is actually something I really enjoyed about SGU and therefore also about the second season. I really hoped for a third season - with the open end - one can always hope, even considering the time already passend, since it originally aired - making aa continuation with the original cast unlikely The cast in both seasons were amazing and one of the main reasons for my 5 star rating on both seasons Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/26/23 Full Review Jonny F Less camp and more serious than SG1, some times grown up story lines. Stargate Universe is gripping and fasinating overall, with lots of character focus. The ending is very sad, but if anyone can resolve that situation it's..... The best music by the SG composer, RIP. A jewl in the star gate crown. No more seasons of the show, but a couple of graphic novels continue the story. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/04/23 Full Review Tina K One of the best sci-fi series around! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/20/23 Full Review Brian H The pace continued to move painfully slow. It becomes unwatchable. They set up characters just kill them off in a cheap attempt to create conflict and evoke emotion, but the show really just need good writers who actually developed characters. If you remember the episode of SG-1 called "200" where they pitch the younger edgier versions? That's literally this entire series. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Zul T It goes nowhere and the villains in this series are so painfully uninteresting. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/26/22 Full Review Audience Member Better than Season 1, but still a disappointment. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
