While the pacing slows at times, the heart’s still there, and the final episodes bring satisfying closure. Not the strongest season, but a warm, fitting end to the story. See more Kelly Y Jun 6 Season 3 was awful. I genuinely loved season 1 (genuine, emotional, nuanced, and unique). Season 2 was still good (though some plotlines had a big buildup with an anticlimactic resolution, e.g. Becky and Wendy reunion). Season 3 was filled with more plotholes than you could count, and failed to deliver any emotional storylines. The show was unrealistic to the point it made no sense. A child dragging dozens of (very well packaged) bodies across an entire ship in a matter of hours. The character deaths were lazy. Somehow Singh managed to stab Birdie while attempting to kill Gus, with Jeppard between Birdie and Gus? Was Singh trying to stab Gus from five metres away? The Caribou man apparently instantly died from a small wound from the three wolf boys? Not only that, but the stories were not interesting. There was no emotion attached to the long-awaited reunion between Birdie and Gus. There was no emotional struggle or depth to Jeppard's story all season. He too, like Singh, was responsible for the deaths of many hybrids. Singh's story was incomprehensible all season. He appears to have come to terms with his wife's death (?) and has somehow become obsessed with a dream of killing Gus. His character turned from a three dimensional human into a lazy plot device. It is never explained why Singh had a dream of the cave where he killed Gus. Really disappointing end which did nothing to build on the previous two seasons (we already know the hybrids will inherit the earth!!) And the “bad” ladys fake accent was unbelievable. The entire “bad” family parts could have beeb cut completely. Did nothing to move the plot forward just filler scenes.
