A young chef from the fine dining world comes home to Chicago to run his family sandwich shop after a heartbreaking death in his family. A world away from what he's used to, Carmy must balance the soul-crushing realities of small business ownership, his strong-willed and recalcitrant kitchen staff and his strained familial relationships, all while grappling with the impact of his brother's suicide. As Carmy fights to transform both the shop and himself, he works alongside a rough-around-the-edges kitchen crew that ultimately reveals itself as his chosen family.

Despite its flaws in narrative focus — or lack thereof — “The Bear” remains an emotional show filled with top performances. Go to Full Review

It's the best food-oriented TV series since Julia Child's "The French Chef." And Christopher Storer and his other writers and directors present montages of food preparation that are beautiful, exotic and mesmerizing all at once. Go to Full Review

The Bear is still extraordinarily artful... But the show also appears less interested in telling a story than in offering an immersive trip for viewers into the recesses and faulty wiring of Carmy’s brain. Go to Full Review

The Bear season 3 hits you in the gut like a fever dream cleverly constructed from a montage of trauma. Go to Full Review

No exagera. Yo he estado ahí. Lo he visto. Lo he vivido. Inolvidable. (ENGLISH) Watching The Bear feels like being inside a real kitchen — heart pounding, noise everywhere, no space to breathe. There’s no trick here. This is how it truly is: the shouting, the sweat, the pressure, the fear of messing up, and those rare seconds of quiet that vanish as soon as they appear. It doesn’t exaggerate. It captures perfectly what happens behind those swinging doors — whether it’s a neighborhood café or a Michelin-star restaurant. I’ve been there. I’ve seen it. I’ve lived it. Every episode is a pressure cooker. Talent, anger, anxiety, exhaustion — it’s all there, boiling together. But amid that chaos, there’s something deeply human. The Bear isn’t just about cooking; it’s about broken people trying to make sense of themselves while everything burns around them. That’s what makes it so powerful. Jeremy Allen White is extraordinary. You can read everything in his eyes: despair, devotion, love for something that both drives and destroys him. The rest of the cast is just as strong — every character scarred, every one holding on with what little strength they have left. The show doesn’t give you a break. It’s relentless, intense, and painfully real. Kitchens are like that — places where perfection doesn’t exist, where survival depends on rhythm, teamwork, and faith. When the credits roll, you’re drained but somehow grateful, thinking, "Yes, that’s exactly how it is." The Bear is one of the most honest, powerful portrayals ever made about work, passion, and sacrifice. Raw, sincere, unforgettable. See more Paul S Nov 8 Another amazing season from The Bear! The acting, the story, and the cinematography are absolutely beautiful, and this is one of the most enjoyable dramas I've ever watched. I definitely recommend it for drama fans! The music choices sometimes don't fit with the scene but I don't mind as I like the music. See more Fanny F Sep 26 Love love love. That's all i can say.
