Season 2, though solid in terms of storyline, acting etc…just didn’t have the atmosphere of Season 1. Though admittedly, equaling or exceeding Season 1 was always going to be a monumental task.

Season 1 is amazing. Season 2 however, tries to combine so many elements and that it losses the sense why it is called season 2. I think show runner had True Detective style in mind but sadly didn't work out

This show is a fantastic production. It delivers a critical look at US treatment of Japanese immigrants, and first-generation citizens, during the anxieties of WWII. The Japanese concentration camp residents are haunted both literally and figuratively by relics of their heritage. The Terror uses clever metaphor to deliver its bleak depiction of what a society will do when it panics.

Season 1 was fantastic! Season 2 was an incredible disappointment. While the underlying story regarding sorry events during WWII needs to be told, the opportunity to shed meaningful light on Japanese internment was wasted through a nonsensical story and fairly dreadful acting. It wasn't worthy at all. How such a good first season could be followed by this is really a mystery.
