Chew C it was better then the beat goes on. even though i liked the beat goes on. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/02/24 Full Review Audience Member Poppy's obsessed with Val to the point of forcing herself on a total stranger, which isn't a positive message to be sending any kids. She sidelines her friends and supposed boyfriend for this stranger on a regular basis, basically sending another negative message to kids that you should abandon the friends who love you in favor of strangers who don't want anything to do with you. In fact, the sheer level of obsession with Val has already soured my view of the character. Legsly and other Trolls World Tour characters never show up at all, and some of the original main characters (like Branch) don't even show up in the least or very often. This is basically just a way of taking advantage of a popular franchise for children, regardless of whether it's of any quality. I'd look elsewhere for ways to amuse the kids. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member The stories are about par for the course with Trolls, but there's a lot of obsession with the new characters. Might as well view this as a whole different show, and it's just a way to milk the franchise for all it's worth. The show's rather obsessed with one of the new characters to the point of sidelining one of the main characters for the sake of getting to know this single new one. As for the music, the only country music seems to be bluegrass, which irritates me because it's the only kind of country music anyone ever wants to show in the media. It's not the only kind of country music that exists, and it would be nice if the non-country fans would stop acting like only depressing music or bluegrass exists in the country sphere.
