Clay Clement
Clay Clement was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Clement kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "Evenings for Sale" (1932), the Lee Tracy drama "Washington Merry-Go-Round" (1932) and the dramatic comedy "Bureau of Missing Persons" (1933) with Bette Davis. He also appeared in "Don't Bet on Love" (1933), "Tonight Is Ours" (1933) and "I've Got Your Number" (1934). He continued to act in productions like "Let's Be Ritzy" (1934), "Murder in the Clouds" (1934) and "Side Streets" (1934). He also appeared in "The House of Mystery" (1934), "Don't Bet on Blondes" (1935) and the Myrna Loy drama "Whipsaw" (1935). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Let's Sing Again" (1936), the Humphrey Bogart crime flick "Two Against the World" (1936) and the Nelson Eddy adaptation "Rosalie" (1937). He also appeared in "Arson Gang Busters" (1938) and "Granny Get Your Gun" (1940). Clement more recently appeared on "Boomerang" (1947). Clement passed away in October 1956 at the age of 68.
