Writer/producer Don McGill certainly knows how to align himself with prospering television programs and how to juggle his work schedule accordingly, as at one point during the early 21st century, he was working on three different hit television programs at once. McGill got his start in television by landing a writing position on the military-based legal drama, "JAG," from 2001 through 2005, writing a total of 15 episodes while working as either a supervising producer, producer, and/or co-executive producer on the show. While still working on "JAG," McGill co-created the not-dissimilar police procedural drama "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service," which debuted in 2003. Additionally, he wrote 185 episodes of "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service" as of 2010, while served as a supervising producer. Also during this time, McGill worked on yet another popular television drama, the police procedural "Numbers," serving as both an executive producer and writer on the series from 2005 through 2009.
