Elliot Cowan

Actor Elliot Cowan was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. Cowan began his acting career appearing mainly in films, such as "Alexander" (2004), "Love and Other Disasters" (2007) with Brittany Murphy and "The Golden Compass" (2007) with Nicole Kidman. He also appeared in the TV movie "The Ruby in the Smoke" (PBS, 2006-07). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Jonathan Creek" (BBC 1, 2004-2015). Following that project, Cowan worked on mostly television programs, including "Luther" (2010-), "Da Vinci's Demons" (Starz, 2013-15) and "Sinbad" (Syfy, 2013). He also appeared in "Critical" (Sky 1, 2014-15). As his entertainment career progressed, he appeared in the dramedy "Happy-Go-Lucky" (2008) with Sally Hawkins. More recently, he tackled roles on "Life In Squares" (2014-15), "The Frankenstein Chronicles" (A&E Network, 2015) and "Beowulf" (Esquire Network, 2016). He also appeared in "Howl" (2016). Cowan most recently acted in "Narcopolis" (2016).
