Geoffrey Wilkinson was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Wilkinson marked his early career with roles in "Anne of Avonlea: The Continuing Story of Anne of Green Gables" (1986-87), the Charlotte Rampling thriller "Paris By Night" (1989) and "Dalziel & Pascoe: A Killing Kindness" (1997-98). He went on to act in "Dalziel & Pascoe: Deadheads" (1997-98), "The Life and Crimes of William Palmer" (PBS, 1998-99) and "Dalziel & Pascoe: Bones and Silence" (1999-2000). He also appeared in the comedy "Calendar Girls" (2003) with Helen Mirren. More recently, Wilkinson acted in the Emma Thompson dramatic adaptation "Brideshead Revisited" (2008).
