George Blair
With many years under his belt, George Blair emerged as a top directing talent over the course of his Hollywood career. Blair received his start directing films, including work on "Affairs of Geraldine" (1946) and "Alias the Champ" (1949). Next came "Duke of Chicago" (1949), "Perils of the Jungle" (1953) and the drama "The Twinkle in God's Eye" (1955) with Mickey Rooney. in the forties and the ninetiesBlair was most recently credited in "Captiva Island" (1995) with Jesse Zeigler. Blair passed away in April 1970 at the age of 65.
