Harry Davis was an accomplished actor who led an impressive career, primarily on the big screen. In his early acting career, Davis appeared in such films as the drama "America, America" (1963) with Stathis Giallelis, the dramatic comedy "The Fortune Cookie" (1966) with Jack Lemmon and "Waterhole Number 3" (1967). He also appeared in "Tony Rome" (1967) with Frank Sinatra and the adaptation "A Man Called Gannon" (1969) with Anthony Franciosa. He continued to act in productions like the Dick Van Dyke comedy "Some Kind of a Nut" (1969), the Sidney Poitier fantasy "Brother John" (1971) and the Jerry Orbach comedic adaptation "The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight" (1971). He also appeared in the thriller "Rollercoaster" (1977) with George Segal. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Second Generation" (2000) and "Cass" (2008) with Gavin Brocker. Davis was most recently credited in the Wood Harris action picture "MVP" (2011). He also was featured in the TV movie "Kojak: The Belarus File" (CBS, 1984-85). Davis passed away in August 1993 at the age of 86.
