Harsh Nayyar was an actor who made a successful career for himself in film. Known for making audiences laugh, Nayyar began his acting career in comedies like "Easy Money" (1983) with Rodney Dangerfield and Joe Pesci, "Making Mr. Right" (1987) with John Malkovich and "Slaves of New York" (1989) starring Bernadette Peters. He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Trapped in Silence" (CBS, 1985-86) and "Sleep Well, Professor Oliver" (ABC, 1988-89). His film career continued throughout the nineties in productions like the adaptation "The Phantom of the Opera" (1991) with David Staller, "Regarding Henry" (1991) with Harrison Ford and the Robert De Niro crime feature "Night and the City" (1992). He also appeared in the dramatic comedy "Mr. Wonderful" (1993) with Matt Dillon. Recently, he continued to act in the Goldie Hawn blockbuster comedy adaptation "The First Wives Club" (1996), "The Preacher's Wife" (1996) and the Tommy Lee Jones smash hit sci-fi feature "Men in Black" (1997). He also appeared in the action film "The Peacemaker" (1997) with George Clooney and the Keanu Reeves dramatic adaptation "The Devil's Advocate" (1997). Most recently, Nayyar acted in "Hidalgo" (2004) with Viggo Mortensen.
