James Ottaway was an actor who has created his niche in the dramatic film. Ottaway found his beginnings in film with roles in the Nicol Williamson dramatic adaptation "Inadmissible Evidence" (1968) and the drama "That'll Be the Day" (1974) with David Essex. He then acted in the John Mills sci-fi fantasy "The Quatermass Conclusion" (1979), "Give Us This Day" (1982) and the Richard Burton drama "Absolution" (1988). Later in his career, Ottaway acted on "Agatha Christie's Poirot" (PBS, 1988-2013). Ottaway passed away in June 1999 at the age of 91.
