Louis Mason
Louis Mason was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Mason kickstarted his acting career in various films such as the Bert Wheeler comedy "Kentucky Kernels" (1934), "Spitfire" (1934) with Katharine Hepburn and the Irene Dunne dramatic adaptation "This Man Is Mine" (1934). He also appeared in "In Person" (1935) and "Banjo on My Knee" (1936). His film career continued throughout the forties in productions like the drama "Chad Hanna" (1940) with Henry Fonda, the comedy "Gold Rush Maisie" (1940) with Ann Sothern and "The Return of Frank James" (1940) with Henry Fonda. He also appeared in "Whistling in Dixie" (1942) and "What's Buzzin' Cousin?" (1943). In the latter part of his career, he tackled roles in the Ginny Simms adaptation "Broadway Rhythm" (1944), "Decoy" (1946) and the Rosalind Russell crime flick "The Velvet Touch" (1948). He also appeared in the western "The Nevadan" (1950) with Randolph Scott. Mason was most recently credited in the comedy "School for Seduction" (2004) with Kelly Brook. Mason passed away in November 1959 at the age of 71.
