Mary Russell
Mary Russell was an actress who graced the silver screen many times throughout her Hollywood career. Russell's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the comedy "A Night at the Ritz" (1935) with William Gargan, the western "The Big Show" (1936) with Gene Autry and the western "Riders of the Whistling Skull" (1937) with Robert Livingston. She also appeared in the western "Roarin' Lead" (1937) with Robert Livingston. She continued to act in productions like "The Silver Trail" (1937) and the Jessica Lange drama "Far North" (1988). Russell continued to exercise her talent in the nineties, taking on a mix of projects like "The VH1 Fashion Awards" (VH1, 1996-97), "Celine, Aretha, Gloria, Shania and Mariah: Divas Live" (VH1, 1997-98) and "VH1 97 Fashion Awards" (VH1, 1997-98). Russell last worked on "The 1998 VH1 Fashion Awards" (VH1, 1998-99). Russell passed away in September 2001 at the age of 87.
