Santino Rice

Santino Rice understood what looked good on a woman's body, whether she was a supermodel or a soccer mom. Rice launched his career as a fashion designer in Los Angeles, yet it was not until he appeared on the hit reality series "Project Runway" (Bravo, 2004-08; Lifetime, 2008- ) that he became a household name. As a contestant on the design competition show hosted by Heidi Klum and judged by American fashion icon Michael Kors, Rice created everything from glamorous red carpet gowns, to Lederhosen-inspired lingerie, all of which helped him land a top three spot during his season. Rice also made an impression on millions of viewers for his humorous one-liners and impersonations as well as his temperamental personality. Appearing on "Project Runway" opened up various opportunities for Rice, not only in the fashion world, but also on the small screen, including a featured part on "RuPaul's Drag Race" (Logo, 2009- ), a gender-bending twist on the "Project Runway" formula. As one of the judges on "RuPaul's Drag Race," Rice continued to captivate audiences with his witty commentary and innovative approach to fashion, both of which helped establish him as one of reality television's most memorable personalities.
