Craig C Not to bad keep on watching plenty of action Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/06/24 Full Review Just W Fun self depreciating action movie, great to just watch and enjoy! A B movie that gets a B+ Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/09/23 Full Review Vourn2020 This is to me one of the most interesting old school action genre to date. Never mind the B-rated movie, some spot on bloopers on the action sequence, poor dialogue, poor acting by Luca Oriel and fast pace story line. I bet director R. Ellis Fazier should have done some creativity within the budget to turn the whole thing around with the presence of Michael Jai White and veteran Tom Berenger. Overall, it's intense and fun to watch considering the raw fight scenes by Mr. Mike, as usual... Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/25/23 Full Review Dennis H I loved the movie. The martial arts style is new, the fight choreography style is new and the storyline has all the heart of karate kid but the intense action and drama you would expect from a Michael Jai White film. There is enough humor to keep the film from becoming to dark for families, yet the intensity of the drama is tangible. I have already seen it three times. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/27/23 Full Review jeff J So this movie had the potential to be AMAZING. However, the acting was terrible. There was music throughout the entire movie in the background which was distracting. The special effects were horrible. Because of how good the story line was, I tried to overlook the other bad things. But in the end, stopped watching the movie about 5/8ths the way through. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/08/23 Full Review Zane B Wow, that was really terrible. According to IMDB it got 23,000 at the box office, and I can see why. This was really rough. After an hour, I was too invested to turn it off, but I'm kind of self shaming for that at this point. Don't do it. Just don't. Jennifer Green Common Sense Media This campy, bloody, macho fight picture set in Northern Mexico is sure to find a niche audience. As Good as Dead is exactly the B-movie it aims to be, and its cast fits the bill perfectly, including a supporting performance from veteran Tom Berenger. Rated: 2/5 Jan 25, 2023 Full Review Alan Ng Film Threat The film is fun from start to finish. Michael Jai White kicks a lot of a*s with a nice variety of action set pieces. Rated: 8/10 Jan 6, 2023 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation If the best action star not to be invited into “The Expendables” universe keeps slinging stuff like this against the wall, maybe eventually something will stick. Rated: 1.5/4 Jan 5, 2023 Full Review Carey-Ann Pawsey Orca Sound It is a rather rudimentary story but really will appeal to those who like old-school action films. Meaning a simple story, okay acting, cheesy dialogue, and plenty of ass kicking. Rated: 3/5 Dec 28, 2022 Full Review Nathaniel Muir AIPT Michael Jai White delivers the goods as the hero who can take out villains with whatever is handy and have a funny quip when he is finished. The story is fast paced, exciting, and plays to its strengths. Dec 18, 2022 Full Review Brent McKnight The Last Thing I See A one point, Michael Jai White weaponizes a sprinkler system to spray acid on his enemies.
