Audience Member Aside from a few annoying bits which insist on reminding you it's a TV movie (like the horrible three-minute montage of Nelson getting a haircut to one of the worst Push It To The Limit ripoffs of all time), this is a very decent drama about the rise and fall and rise and fall and rise and fall (count that, three rises, three falls) of a man who's watched Wall Street one too many times. As much as I like Nelson, his acting is sometimes cringe-inducing, mainly towards the beginning, but he hits his stride during the second half where he really brings out some well pent-up aggression. The rest of the cast is average, with Ron Silver being the most believable of the gang. The score is your average eighties synth pop, and aside from a few horrible licensed song choices (as mentioned above) it really holds the action together and gives it a whole feeling. Definitely recommended for people looking for a story with just the right amount of twists and turns to hold your interest. I remember seeing some of these young unknowns in parts after this and alays thinking back to this film (I think it was at least a two-part mini series, no?). Probably looks awful now.
