The holiday season turns deadly for a group of sorority sisters (Katie Cassidy, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Lacey Chabert, Michelle Trachtenberg) who are stranded at their campus house during a snowstorm. These coeds better watch out, for a vicious killer is on the loose, and he will not care if they are naughty or nice.

Critics Consensus

A gratuitous remake of the 1974 slasher, Black Christmas pumps out the gore and blood with zero creativity, humor, or visual flair.

Blind from any sort of craft or talent, every piece of the film fails in an overly exploitive and off-putting experience that is impossible to justify watching. Emilliano Jr S A remake slasher movie for all seasons. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/09/24 Full Review Noah D This movie is the worst horror movie I have ever seen. It takes all the things that made the original such a good christmas horror movie, plactic wrap on face, sex, and the phone calls, and doses them in such a bad way. The only thing that was good in this movie was that the phone calls was kinda creepy. But I would not recommend this yo eneyone. But no affect to the cast I have herd that they are really nice Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/23/24 Full Review Samir B This movie shooked me.. for a 2006 movie, it is quite disturbing. The deaths are horrifying, violent, and gorey, the acting and the screams are great . I have not seen a good horror christmas movie in a long time, and generally, it's a good horror well. This was a good time and I'm glad I spent 1 hour and 32 minutes to watch this movie. This movie is criminally underrated. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/07/24 Full Review Gorptholemew T 🍀 3.4/10 My ADHD has hit to Max with this one. I really cannot tell any of these characters apart. There is no personality here I will say it is gory but it gets to an excessive point where it's not really fun anymore and we're just like OK. I like Billy‘s character though. I love how they're just running away from a life-size Lego mini-figure. Grade C- Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 12/19/23 Full Review Serge L I actually stuck around to the end of this one, mostly because it was at least more slickly produced than the original and I knew more of this cast from other movies. Still... not a good film. Watched for free on VUDU with commercials. That's a fair price for this one. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 12/05/23 Full Review rita g Nope. Couldn't keep watching it, ended it after 20 minutes. trashy comedic slasher fests are quite boring to me - but if thats what u look for you won't fail with this one. I'm still on the lookout for some more serious & sophisticated Christmas horror. (Heard the original and newer remake are better. Maybe give those a try.)
