andy n Obscurantism! The film is 90% about politics, well, or about fascism, and 10% about love. Boredom! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Fairly standardised tale of an unlikely and reluctant neo-nazi, to the extent that such a thing can exist. Not bad, but not exciting. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie was so good,so good. The European cinema really is different than the American in ways that it is quite obvious it cares about its characters. We have a story about Neonazis and to be honest it made me quite uncomfortable to watch and even sympathize for its two leads.Yet the story was more than that.Although it wasn't made clear enough how a very smart and open-minded person could join this gang of monsters,it was quite clear what he gained from them. But what happens when what you are taught and brainwashed with comes to haunt you?I don't know, people with a stronger heart than mind and even angrier than me at the Neonazis wouldn't care less about the ending to this story. My young, romantic heart could not take it.I couldn't help it but sympathize with those men, who've been through such a propaganda and have witnessed so much, that they can't think outside of the box anymore. It is a pity really how easy a young person can be lost in this and lose themselves. An extraordinary love story, that no matter what else, manages to make you wonder about the more serious stuff. Excelente actuaciones. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member One of my favorite films of all time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A bit on the heavy side but enjoyable nonetheless. Did not need any "star power". Least I didn't know any of the actors. I think it's in Danish .... Sounds German to me anyways. English sub. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Kevin Thomas Los Angeles Times An unsparing neo-noir with the structure and inevitability of classic drama... Rated: 4/5 Aug 19, 2010 Full Review Stephen Holden New York Times Within the group, the confusion between rough, homoerotic fellowship among straight men and homosexuality (or the threat of it) sets up a paranoid electric charge. Rated: 3/5 Aug 6, 2010 Full Review David Fear Time Out Adding hot naked men to a predictable narrative doesn't equal titillating or taboo; it just means you've dressed up a messy melodrama. Rated: 2/5 Aug 4, 2010 Full Review Mattie Lucas From the Front Row A shining and unironic example of love overcoming all obstacles that never feels manipulative or goofy. Rated: 3/4 Aug 5, 2019 Full Review Glenn Dunks Trespass A compelling look at Denmark's hidden race issues and proves to be a stunning, teary-eyed romance between the most unlikely of characters Sep 15, 2013 Full Review Marcy Dermansky About.com The acts of violence and hatred they commit are so appalling, that by the film's inevitable tragic end, I was unable to muster the requisite sympathy.
