Jan 11, 2002 Full Review Kelly Vance East Bay Express Best of all, nobody, including actors Show Aikawa and rock star Riki Takeuchi as the cop and the criminal, takes the flick very seriously. So neither should you. May 4, 2010 Full Review Christopher Null Filmcritic.com Rated: 3.5/5 May 12, 2006 Full Review Emanuel Levy EmanuelLevy.Com Rated: 3/5 Aug 14, 2005 Full Review Read all reviews

Alexander B It had some really trippy and surreal scenes. There is also some great action scenes in the last quarter of the film. But it makes very little sense and has some extremely gross moments that have nothing to do with the plot. The middle really drags on with boring moments as well. The film feeling like a missed opertunity. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/20/23 Full Review William D The first ten minutes are one of the best openings I've ever seen. Unfortunately, the rest of the movie doesn't come close to that standard. In fact the film lacks coherence, just violent set pieces, then a rather strange ending. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/27/23 Full Review justin t This is an abnormal cops versus criminals Japanese action film. There is plenty of killing and a rather confusing story about a cop with a sick daughter. It is fun to watch. It is not as good as Ichi the Killer (2001) by the same director as it is less sadistically violent. The violence in this is less extreme but still effective and bloody. This was good for me as there was plenty of bloody violence although I would have liked it to be more insane. It was a little confusing so more action would have made up for that. Random ending. It can be enjoyed for those with the stomach. There are better films though. Killers abound! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member lol what a wacky and wild cops vs robbers exploitation flick. Leave it to Miike to make a fun, crazy movie like this. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Strange, then boring, then bizarre. Not Miike's greatest effort. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
