Mark S I'm a big fan of Patrick Fabian and he just nails the part of a middle-age family man trying to find his way in a world now run by the generation behind him. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/24 Full Review StephenPaul C LOL, the funniest 01 hour: and 38 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/24/23 Full Review bryan b Modern rehashing of hundreds of movies- guy loses job. Takes job that is beneath him to make ends meet. Appreciates what he has because of the interactions with people at work. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Fantastic movie. I can see why the left hates the truth so much. Gen Z are good at one thing, depleting the middle class and making a few people Billionaires. ( Nothing replaces Led Zeppelin either! ) There could be a lot of movies like this, but this is the first, and they did it right! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/11/21 Full Review Audience Member offbeat little keeper which kept me amused continually. if uber driving is like this, i will pass on the job. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I guess if it was a documentary driversx as good as it does show you the life of what it’s like to be a Uber driver. Unfortunately there’s not really a whole lot to this film. Just a guy down on his luck trying to make money for his family and resisting temptation. That’s it. It’s an easy film to watch with some decent performances but there’s really not enough meat here to grab your attention or for full length film. Maybe it would’ve done better as a short? Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter Proves unsatisfying both as drama and satire. Dec 3, 2018 Full Review Nick Allen RogerEbert.com DriverX is worse than just one of the year's most vapid movies, it's an out-and-out nightmare of late-stage capitalism. Rated: 0/4 Nov 30, 2018 Full Review Noel Murray Los Angeles Times Drawn from the filmmaker's own experiences, "DriverX" is a collection of hit-and-miss anecdotes, organized around the idea of what "work" means in the 21st century. Nov 29, 2018 Full Review Dan Buffa KSDK News (St. Louis) There will be a lot of Uber/Lyft inspired movies coming out in the next few years. Filmmakers are like painters-they paint what they see. Just let it be known that DriverX was the first to the table and the one that got it right. Nov 10, 2020 Full Review Bill Arceneaux Big Easy Magazine DriverX is the movie version of that Simpsons meme where Principal Skinner asks aloud "Am I out of touch?" Rated: 1.5/5 Jan 31, 2019 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film Sharply observed, warm and generous, this film is a delight from start to finish.
