This new comedy from Fred Wolf is so inept, crass, humorless, and tactless that it actually attempts to double down on sex-offender jokes as if it had struck a wellspring of situational comedy about pedophilia. Go to Full Review

Even with a cast this stacked, nothing about Drunk Parents works. Go to Full Review

Audiences might need to be inebriated, as well, to have a chance at enjoying this broad suburban farce that's completely detached from reality. Go to Full Review

Wolf's a dreadful screenwriter and an abysmal director, and while I'm sure he's a nice enough guy, "Drunk Parents" is an additional stain on an already blackened resume. Go to Full Review

TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 3 days ago Drunk Parents stars Salma Hayek and Alec Baldwin, two amazing actors, but at the end of the day, they couldn’t even save this movie. They struggled to keep the story consistent, cohesive, and entertaining outside of the fact that you are watching two A-list superstars. I felt like there was a disconnect the whole time, and it never felt fully developed. Regardless of them being there, it felt like they were just playing a part and collecting a paycheck. The story itself is very lost in translation, and you don’t really remember what is happening because you’re completely confused about what you’re watching. There were opportunities for this to become more entertaining, but the movie never found its direction. Overall, I think it’s fine for what it is, but it’s definitely something you’ll forget. A week later, you probably won’t remember much about the movie. Drunk Parents is ultimately a completely forgettable film, and even the talent involved couldn’t make it memorable. Nothing lands in this so-called comedy.
