Audience Member Damn, it made me cry... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member better than I thought it would be! The WWll flashbacks were kinda dull. But other than that it was a good film. Thea Gill sings in this movie, and she's pretty good! I love the scene where the gas station guy named Jeff saves up enough money to have Clark a street hustler (who had been coming into the gas station for cigarettes for awhile) pretend to love him. Clark gives up the profession eventually after Pip gets stabbed saving him. He goes by the gasstation and buys some flowers and passes them over to Jeff. So cute!! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member overacting and overwrought, but the storytelling has its moments. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member At first the film seemed like it was gonna be really hokey, but turned out to not be as bad as I thought. Thea Gill is always awesome...and she sings in this film! Really well, too! Overall though, the film was decent...didn't get too in depth with characters though. However, I think it was best told through the three to four different couples being examined. Wouldn't have been as good if only one story line was focused upon. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member An 18 year old kid living on the streets starts listening to his grandfathers memoirs on tape, about the time he turned 18 during the war in France. The two stories never really gel, the homo erotic aspect seems woefully out of place and the acting is well below standard Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member This could have been a really good movie & in selected parts it was but overall fails to deliver... If it comes on late one Saturday night and you happen to be home and cant sleep then give it a look, I wouldn't waste $$$ renting it from the DVD shop... Supposed to be about a street kid who ends up making friends with a male prostitute & the story alternates between their daily drudgery - you'd get more entertainment if you found a street kid in your area and followed him about for 2 hours...
