Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/27/22 Full Review Audience Member A messy student film with some promise but not worth watching in my opinion. The visuals, script and soundtrack were unprofessional and bothered me at times, so it wasn't an entertaining experience. A few nice moments but strongly would not recommend unless you are a superfan of any of the actors. P.S. I'm not easily offended, but I found it offensive that a character of a teenage girl was made to randomly confess that "she tempted her uncle and not the other way around". Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member tobey maguire you ruin everything & i was expecting this movie to be more controversial than it really is to be banned in the US, it's just a bunch of teenagers being idiots honestly get over it Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This was shot 25 years ago but anyone who's lived about that long can still vouch for the familiar quintessence of crude youth so carelessly splashed across this film. Even in the age of Tinder, ‘that' kinda crowd will never die. Despite the strong sense of solidarity in the name of feminism and basic human fucking decency, the boorish man lives on to pass its most discernible features to its progeny. For the sake of artistry, "Don's Plum" gives us a provocative and somewhat melancholic preview of that troubled aspect. It's the kind of ‘art house' film that's easily digestible. It built its substance (or some may argue, lack there of) on the kind of pointless conversations a crowd of people who think they're so different from each other have. I understand that this was intended to be an experimental project of some sort; whether it deliberately aimed for the kind of response it got seeing as it neither resolved to shock nor confound—I don't know. While people wouldn't have paid attention much to an obscure, BNW film from the 90s had it not been for the Pussy Posse(?), it's exactly what unites the film. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Absolutely brilliant! Incredibly fresh, real, and tragic. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Brandon Judell indieWire This sensationally acted tale chronicles a group of young, disaffected 20-year-olds at a diner one evening and how they rage against themselves and each other. It might just be the best American movie you won't view this year or any other.
