funny at some points, but as a lesbian, this movie is genuinely very cringe. it's only sometimes relatable but after watching this movie TWICE (one time alone, one with friends just now) I can say that I don't like this movie

Joyful and funny and sweet queer coming of age movie. I laughed out loud and cried. Thank you Julianna Notten and team for making the kind of movie I needed when I was 13. Young queer people being able to see this kind of representation is so important. I'm excited to see what comes next from this amazing young film maker.

Skillfully directed. I was taken by how the director was able to take what would typically be awkward, embarrassing and tense moments and normalize them with tenderness. There are many strong messages in this film that cannot go unmentioned. Attributes of compassion, courage, humour, self-control, patience, imagination, humility, empathy and love enriched this film. Notten was able to thread all these qualities masterfully in her film. Kudos to Julianna Notten, the cast and the crew.
