After losing his mother to murder as a boy, Marcus (Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson) has little support in his life. He starts working for drug dealer Levar (Bill Duke) and his assistant (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje). Although Marcus makes good money selling, his dream is to become a rapper. When he reunites with an old love (Joy Bryant) and is later shot numerous times during a robbery, Marcus decides it's time to change his life. However, his old associates won't let him go so easily.

HMF B I always enjoy watching 50 Cent do his thing. Though I don't know much of that world, I enjoyed the movie. [jesus christ. how many freshly typed reviews am i going to lose due to "something went wrong" error messages? im trying to write a positive review for the film. this platform is insane. i take the time to write reasonable reviews for so many films and shows, and it just says "oops, we accidentally lost all 4 paragraphs you just typed" upwards of 50% of the time. this time, it's even logged me out of the site so i have to log in again. i literally have to copy + paste the same review 3-4 times in a row, refreshing the page in between, for the site to accept the most benign and simple reviews. this is especially an issue with newer releases, but it happens on any page of the site regardless. if you are flagging something due to language, at least tell me so that i can make edits. i don't curse and i'm not bigoted or aggressive on here. if this is just a bug, then why do you take away the entire text box as soon as it happens? there is literally 0 excuse for this to be happening so often, it's flagrant censorship that's probably based on incredibly faulty AI given when it began happening, and i'm not the only user noticing it. people want to find a reliable, organic site for reviews, and it seems that the most major platforms have no intention of allowing that. ] Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/03/24 Full Review Eli C "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" is a gripping and powerful film that beautifully portrays the struggles and triumphs of a determined individual striving for success against all odds.
