Audience Member Ive seen better, then again Ive seen worse. The movie overall has a good ambience and some interesting scares (at least while watching it in the dark) but everything else in the movie is just O.K. The movie mainly suffers from a story point of view due not only to the fact that the characters and the location offer very little overall, but also because the movie is pretty darn short and it ends a little quickly. It caught my interest in the first 30-40 minutes and then it lost me completely as the scares and ambience and stories are replaces by some dull sequences regarding the effects on the crew and some boring scouting. So yes, it isnt horrible, but it neither is any great. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Impressive film locally and worth catching. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Haunted Changi has one really good thing going for it. It's setting. The hospital is an incredibly spooky locale and I've really ne'er seen anything like it. The movie however was fairly disappointing. I really liked all of the characters and they did a great job in their roles. The story is standard stuff, a documentary crew investigates a haunted building. It's starts off really well introducing the characters then when they arrive at the hospital, they capture the creepy atmosphere. But that's also part of the problem. Not much happens. The movie spends most of its timing doing just that. Showing off the building. There isn't much "ghost" footage shown at all and their aren't even many jump scares to keep us preoccupied. I did like the woman that lived at the hospital and how she was incorporated into the film. Overall the movie was far to slow at parts and the ending wasn't that great or rewarding but the awesome setting and likable characters put this as one of the better "found footage" films. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member ..i wanted to see this film cause it inspired a more recent movie that i very much liked.. this film is pretty much like Singapore's very own Blair Witch Project but it just didn't work out.. honestly i was disappointed.. while watching the movie i felt like i'm suffering from lack of scares & that was quite a terrible feeling.. and where asian horror movies have clearly made their mark, a film like this is just like an effort gone in vain... Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Another fake documentary, this time revolving around Changi Hospital. There definitely are some tense moments, especially when we get sucked into the labyrinth of tunnels below, spine chilling. The rest of the movie is relatively forgettable though and left with a somewhat disappointing ending. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
