Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed I'd like to learn why anyone would bother making a lame sequel to a film that didn't need one in the first place. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 07/03/24 Full Review robert p Nothing like the original Hitcher this is a failed attempt to re-do the better Movie! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review steve d Howell is underused but it works well as a standalone slasher. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Just another brick in the junk DTV wall that Universal keeps building. It tries its best to undermine the original, but it's easy enough to just ignore this one. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 12/24/19 Full Review Audience Member As a sequel to the first film, it's not entirely bad, but far below the first Hitcher with Rutger Hauer. Jim is now a bit older but he must be stupider, to even pick up another Hitch hiker! Not that this guy is scary at all. Mr Busey looks like a big, silly idiot rather than a frightening enigma as Mr Hauer was in the first. And Rutger Hauer was very handsome, which to me, is way scarier than someone like Busey who is just odd looking. I also don't like how underused Howell is in this he gets killed too quickly. Still better than the 2007 remake though with Sean Bean who IMO is useless as John Ryder. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member I kinda liked it 3/5 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
