Clyde Gilmour Maclean's Magazine The spoken commentary is laudably free of the coy whimsies that marred some of the film's predecessors in the series. Dec 2, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Russell H Cool footage of the cats in nature Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Muito bonitinho, tenho recentemente pegado amor por esses documentários sobre a biosfera, aqui um exemplar bem fofinho e brasuca, o ecossistema da Floresta Amazônica, como personagens principais uma linda e maravilhosa família Jaguar, chamados carinhosamente de gatos, aprendemos com eles, sobre eles, e degustamos de belas imagens, apaixonada pelas preguiças, um relatório documentado magnífico… Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member This is brilliant considering it was made in the 60s before drone cameras and the like. My son adores the jaguar versus boa constrictor scene. I do wonder how 'naturally' some of these scenes were set up though?! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review s r Some amazing sequences that impress. Still run of the mill though. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I've always remembered seeing some nature film when I was a child that included a scene where a tree sloth fell to the ground and I found it's struggle to get back to a tree a very traumatic viewing experience. After catching "Jungle Cat" on TCM, I now know what film burned that moment into my brain. Setting childhood trauma aside, this was quite an enjoyable Disney nature film, following a jaguar in South America as it has all sorts of episodic adventures. These films were great when I was a kid and they still hold up today. It's also fun watching them with my own kids, who also greatly enjoy these films (though they did not seem to be as bothered by the tree sloth on the ground as I was). Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The last of Disney's True-Life Adventures is one of the best in my opinion. It follows a jaguar around the jungle of the Amazon. The nature footage is top-notch. (First and only viewing - 3/30/2017) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
