david h What do you say about cheese curd loving Quebecois vampires with a tanning salon in Montreal? Throw in some marital problems, the mob, and a potion that can turn them human to blend in, and you have the makings for a very strange ride called "Karmina K2". The movie follows Ghyslain Chatbot (the maker of the potion) as he is thrown out of the house by his wife for refusing to turn her into a vampire. The potion and spell book are still inside of course, and to make things worse he hasn't had the chance to mail it out the rest of the clan. A misguided adventure ensues as he bumbles through a series of ridiculous events. With the help (used in the loosest terms) of his friend Vlad, he has to make up with his wife and get the potion distributed before all (vampire) hell breaks loose. A good Canadian comedy that starts out slow but gets better as it goes along. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Ð"де Ð 1/4Ð 3/4жР1/2Ð 3/4 Ð 1/2айÑ,и эÑ,Ð 3/4Ñ, ÑилÑÐ 1/4? Ever since I rented it on VHS in, like, 2002, I've been hunting for my own copy. It's a Quebecois vampire comedy. I saw this before the original and I like it even more. I love how much it respects the roots of vampire literature and cinema, while still being really Canadian. For a movie where an entire nightclub full of swingers get massacred by hungry vampires, this movie has a really sweet heart. And I thank it for giving me the opportunity to write a sentence like that. So few come along. Vampires and poutine jokes: the new peanut butter and jelly. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is soooooo bad, it's good and well worth watching. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member i liked the first one better.. sequals usually never work out, but the first one is classics Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Terrible. Exceptionally cheesy, completely absurd, and incredibly entertaining. I greatly enjoyed watching it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews
