Several decades into the future, a pandemic has razed most of Europe and John Wood, former soldier who committed some of the atrocities involved in attempting to assuage the damage caused by the pandemic, is living alone, shut off from all other life after having lost his wife to the actions of the global security force that did all it could to prevent the spread of the disease. Apparently, he is immune or at least has avoided contact with the disease, but then he meets Maria Johnson, a woman who truly is resistant to the spread of the disease as she hides from this radical global security force who don’t want the cure for all mankind, just a chosen few. Maria and John unite in order to protect her as they face mercenaries to the elite in a grand confrontation in which John has the chance for retribution. Awesome. I didn’t think this was going to be so good what with lesser-known actors in the mix, but they are amazing, and I had fun watching this. I could call this an action with a sci-fi element.
