Tim Brayton Antagony & Ecstasy Compared to virtually any other action thriller about fighting a crazed supernatural Romanian dictator... it's still unmistakably poor. Rated: 2/10 Oct 25, 2014 Full Review Todd Hertz Christianity Today As far as unfortunate cheese and silliness, there are still some gems here. Rated: 2/4 Sep 27, 2006 Full Review Scott Weinberg DVDTalk.com I don't remember much of my New Testament, but someone might have to remind me what chapter it is where the president breaks into a top-secret bio-lab and uncovers Satan's Death-Bible gambit. Colin W The "war on Christmas" crowd must love this one. It's Sunday school with machine guns. I felt embarrassed for all of the actors, whether they be desperate for work or truly longing for the second coming. 1% Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member It really sucks they never continued the series after this. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Conclusion of the Left Behind film series, so I'll use this entry to address the series as a whole. There's a hole in it, or something is something or missing... or maybe just different from what we have been told by Hollywood movies of the same subject matter. The rapture happens here and business continues as usual, for the most part, and many people continue going to work and going about their daily routines. That is how you know this series has good intentions, because it doesn't command you to panic and act irrationally and as a fool... which is what Hollywood does with a lot of it's shit on the subject. One of my oldest criteria for rating and reviewing movies, back when going to the movie theater was still allowed, was whether or not a movie offended me or the audience in any way. This does not get in my face or force anything into my face, there's nothing about this film series that should offend myself or anyone else and it's a decently made production. Simple as that. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Oh. My. Goodness. This movie departs completely from the books. Yes, it has a lot of the same cast and some welcome new ones, but if you're looking for a Left Behind movie, do yourself a favor and stop after watching Tribulation Force. The plot is disjointed and the "sacrifice" at the end doesn't mean anything. Just...don't. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review dustin d Left Behind: World at War is the most metal in the series. It clearly has a bigger budget than the first two, but overreaches to comedic results much of the time. It continues with right-wing conspiracies, a naive notion of how the world works, and laughable plot lines. Enjoyable for the wrong reasons, which almost makes it worth watching. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Do not watch! I thought it was going to be an awesome war movie, but it was not! It was cheesy, super-natural, and very religious.
