Niko K This movie is for 10-18 old people. Anyways its more teen movie than American pie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/06/23 Full Review Audience Member A well concieved and original take on what makes human. The merging of technology with the mind of a screwed up teenager is the basis for the big questions being asked. Watch it twice, think about it thrice. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review John G This is a close reenactment of a cross between Johnny Pneumonic(a sh!t pile in it's own right) & Hackers(Same)...IF it was done by your Community Colleges AV Club!!! The story, aside being erratic AT BEST, is absolutely stupid! Doesn't even hold ANY uniqueness to draw a "cult following" or "C" movie status!!! Save time & brain cells... Just get drunk or high instead! You'll come up with a BETTER story! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/20/20 Full Review Audience Member OK, so let's break this down a bit. I watched this movie with low expectations. If you watch it with low expectations your really going to enjoy yourself. The movie is low budget and that's pretty much why it's going to get alot of bad reviews, but just go in with the mindset that it's a fun movie about a hacker and his split personality disorder/ imaginary friend. Just relax have a good time. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review joe m Started watching "Mad Genius", but then when I saw the hero, Mason (Chris Mason) was going to be talking to his imaginary alter ego (Scott Mechlowicz) and yet he was still 'sane' enough to be working in some ultra-cool IT-slash-rave start-up I saw this was going to be bad mash-up of "Fight Club" and "The Matrix". And, based on the 12 minutes I watched and fast forwarding through to the end, it was all that with some preposterous notion of Mason hacking the human mind. Give "Mad Genius" a pass. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Frances H Totally confusing plot and bad acting. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/12/19 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
