Hafizul A Good storyline. But there's a lot of fake sound, sfx and vfx. Can't feel the story as the camera work also very calm. The looks, mise-en-scene too fake. Cliche dialogue everywhere and slow paced movie. Honest review as a film student who's been pursued to create a better film thanks. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review Saiful Affendy S Based on true story. Action pack and real war movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/30/23 Full Review Tartan P Terribly dull dramatisation. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/29/23 Full Review Ben B This movie actually had a lot of potential but its no where near a cinematic masterpiece. There are flaws present and it failed to get me emotional and hyped. However, there are rooms for improvement. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/28/23 Full Review Ismail A Every Malaysian movies have a problem with color grading Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/19/23 Full Review WENG0407 This movie tells the untold story of how the rescue took place. It ISN'T the complete story, no, but it paints a clearer picture of how things unfolded over the incident of "Black Hawk Down". Michael Bay, the director of the movie Black Hawk Down (BHD) either wasn't made aware of the facts, or knew about them but thought it wasn't a critical part to telling his story. If you're interested to know more, there are many YouTube videos made with ACTUAL people on the ground, and apparently the Americans sent in four rescue teams in attempts to recuse their team, but all four failed and incurred heavy casualties. They then called in the UN Peacekeepers, where the Pakistani's and the Malaysians responded. Pakistan went in with personnel and 2 tanks, and the Malaysian went in with APC (Armored Personnel Carriers) and personnel. They encountered resistance and fire, the Paki's retreated to safety and decided not to participate. The Malaysians decided to go ahead and face the fire with their APC and batallion of personnels, unfamilliar with the urban zone. And they succeeded in rescueing the remander US Soldiers and recovered some of their dead. To that end, the rescueing part is a valiant story, but I can see why Michael Bay did not include it in his "BHD", it is a whole different story which should be told by itself. If he did that, it would probably add another hour to BHD. There was a passing mention about "the Malays" in BHD, just not on their valiant effort. So, good watch, go watch it. A little Propaganda-ish, but that's ALL the movies are nowadays, a proaganda here, a "THE MESSAGE" there and lot's of "Narrative". Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
